Ten Spot enables it's users to connect their wearable devices to our platform. The list of products we support include Garmin, RunKeeper, Withings, Fitbit, Strava, MapMyFitness, MyFitnessPal, Apple Health, iHealth, Vitadock, and Google Fit.
Once you have connected, you will immediate begin participating in the Step Leaderboard within your company or property.
NOTE: If you are using an app to collect data, like Apple Health, be sure to turn on background app refresh to ensure the data is as real-time as possible. Go to Settings > General
When you log onto Ten Spot, look for the button to “Connect your Device” on the dashboard.
Click “Connect your Device” and then Click “Get Started” to begin the Electronic Authorization with your device. Select your device application from the list of wellness choices.
Once you have selected your device, a new window should pop up asking for your log-in information for that device application. Sign in and authorize the permissions access.
For connecting Apple Health from your iPhone:
In order to connect to Apple Health, you will need to download the Human API app from the app store.
Once you have downloaded the human API app, create a new Human API account if you do not already have one.
When prompted to enable Apple health, click “Enable”, then “Continue”. Make sure to grant Human API app access to each type of data stored in Apple Health as desired or click “Turn All Categories On”. This will ensure that you can leave the Human API app active in the background and your health data will continue to sync with Apple Health for real-time fitness measurements.
Return to the Ten Spot pop-up screen and click the blue button “Connect Apple Health using my HumanAPI account”. Log in to your Human API account using the same login details you used when you downloaded the Human API app.
